threadless design competition for class. we were assigned opposites and had to make an illustration based on them. i got dead and alive.

sketch to finish. i'm trying the screenprinting thing again. it's so much fun and takes so much less time than gouache! this picture of the craigslist killer was inspired by old addiction to serial killers.

BELLS AND WHISTLES
really fun new piece. the prompt was bells and whistles. we could take two approaches: 1. the literal bells and whistles and 2. the figure of speech (that car sure has all the bells and whistles with its new dvd player and pointless cupholders). I obviously chose the first.
